One of my favourite hobbies is to create digital products and resources for myself and others - workbooks, worksheets, guides, maps, checklists, journals, you name it, I've probably got some version of it somewhere on the internet (or my desktop). Ofcourse, I'm not an expert so I've tried any avenue possible to see where I enjoy the creative process the most, and where I can publish it to download for free or to sell. With Christmas around the corner, heres a list of kids toys and books that I love and caught my eye and I feel would be perfect as a gift for your kids or grandkids, or just for fun! I love all kinds of toys and books and these days I spend most of my free time browsing and seeing whats new in-store and online. My go-to are toys and books that are everlasting, not just for christmas, but can be revisited over time (even over next Christmas). Travelling with kids is basically parenting in a different location, so why not go where everyone can have fun?! For me, staycations fit the bill. As a Sydney local, I have tried most CBD hotels for mini staycations (anywhere from 1 day to a few days), and I think these recommendations will be amazing for travelling with little ones. One of my favourite things to do with my daughter is read books that nurture emotional development, literacy, and feelings. Stories with fun, relatable characters help her recognise and name her feelings, understand empathy, and build emotional awareness in everyday situations. They say when a child is born, so is a mother. I truly believe in that. In my time, I've turned to books over and over again for validation, support, and guidance through out my own pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood journey.
