Sometimes it’s hard to find the time to sit down and read, but that’s what audiobooks is for. I just got the Airpod pro 3 for my birthday and the noise cancelling is a game changer for me.

Books to read
The first book in the Empyrian series is probably my favorite, and will probably continue to be ny number one. It’s got a strong female lead, a love interest you fall for immediately and dragons. Some spice, but plot is still strong.
Fourth Wing (Standard Edition) - Yarros
The second book in the Empyrian series. This follows where Fourth Wing ends. It has a little more spice than the first book, but still strong plot and a storyline that captured me for days.
Iron Flame (Standard Edition) - Yarros
The third book in the Empyrian series and, in my opinion, the one with the most plot and world building. This book still has spice, but doesn’t focus as heavily on the romance but takes the plot to new heights. This is the last available book in the ...
Onyx Storm (Standard Edition) (The Empyrean 3)
This was on my TBR for way too long. I have never been a wolf girlie, but this book changed my mind. It’s fun, it’s comforting and the characters have development. It is more romance focused than plot, but the plot is still good and exciting. A mediu...
The Wolf King: A Fantasy Romance - Amazon.com
I really liked The Wolf King, but the follow-up, The Night Prince I loved. I devoured this in a single day and I can’t wait for the last book to release in November this year. This book has it all; the twists, the tension, the character development, ...
The Night Prince: Fantasy Romance (Wolf King 2)
I really enjoyed this book, it was my first introduction to a more dark side of romantasy. It had a fair amount of spice, but I also really enjoyed the plot and universe, even though the romance was my main reason for this read. It didn’t disappoint,...
The Wolf and the Crown of Blood: Deluxe Edition
I loved this book a lot. It has a story that's very intriguing and a cute romance. The characters are well written and I really got invested in the romance. I postponed it for long because it's labeled as a vampire book which I normally avoid (becaus...
From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout
The follow up to From Blood and Ash, and it didn’t disappoint. However, I do have more questions than answers by the end of the book and can’t wait to read the rest of the series. To be honest, I am excited for the plot development, but I live for th...
A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire
This is the first book of The Folk of the Air Trilogy. This is YA fantasy and the romance is not really the main focus, but I’m including it in this list anyway because it’s such a comfort read for me and I just love the romance even without spice. T...
The Cruel Prince (Folk of the Air, 1)
Book two of The Folk of the Air. Out of the three books in the series this is the best. This hits all the right spots, with plot and romance. By the end you will throw yourself at the next, and last, book. Still YA, and no spice.
The Wicked King (Folk of the Air 2)
The final book in The Folk of the Air series. This book wrapped up the series in a very fitting way and I enjoyed every page. Still YA, no spice.
The Queen of Nothing (Folk of the Air 3)
I enjoyed this book when I first started it, and it was my introduction to romantasy. However, tiktok spoiled much of the continuation for me so it took a while to appreciate the story. It’s a nice read and very popular so I recommend everyone to giv...
A Court of Thorns and Roses
The follow up to ACOTAR. This is most people’s holy grail of romantasy, and it’s a good book. The plot is not the best imo, but this book gives a lot on the romance part. A tiny bit of spice, but the intimacy is more warm and cozy.
A Court of Mist and Fury
The third ACOTAR book, and probably my favorite if I think about it. The plot got more attention in this book and the main storyline wraps up pretty well. The romance is on the side and is nice, but for this series I preferred the plot.
