I love to lose myself in a really good book. This is my take on cosy books! A mixture of light fiction, thriller and autobiographies.
It’s not very often a fiction book has me laughing out loud, but this one did!
Bob Mortimer Books
I’ve read lots of autobiographies and this one is definitely my all time favourite. Bob is a brilliant writer and absolutely hilarious. It’s a must read for anyone.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I’d been having trouble sleeping so I read it in the early hours of the morning when I was wide awake!
The Serial Killer's Wife by Alice Hunter
Graham Norton is such a good novelist. All of his characters are brought to life in his writing. I loved this, his first novel.

I can’t express how much this book meant to me. Along with the tv series it gave me hope at a dark time in my life. The book shows the close relationship between Charley and Ewan and it’s lovely read.
Long Way Round by Ewan McGregor, Charley Boorman
If you like the podcast Shagged Married Annoyed, you’ll love the book! Written from Chris’s and Rosies’s perspective it’s full of funny and stories.
Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed. by Chris Ramsey, Rosie Ramsey
I read this book in a weekend. Anything to do with the Second World War and sewing I’m all over!
The Dressmaker's Gift by Fiona Valpy
Ruth Jones of Gavin & Stacey fame also writes novels. And this is the first one I read. I love her style.
Never Greener by Ruth Jones
I was a Wham! girl through and through and when this autobiography came out written by Andrew Ridgeley I couldn’t wait to read it.
Wham! George & Me by Andrew Ridgeley
I read this book after I saw the film. I absolutely love the film too. I enjoyed the book just as much.
The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid
I read this as soon as the book came out. And I resonated with me on a level I was really surprised about. My life has obviously been completely different to hers but there have been a lot of similarities on the relationship front. I highly recommend...
Brutally Honest by Melanie Brown, Louise Gannon
If you love the Jurassic Park films and you also love reading then you must read the books! They’re all really well written and just as tense as the films! I might re-read them now!
Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton
Charley Boorman has had so many bike accidents but the one he talks about in this book was his worst. Luckily he’s ok!! It’s a great read, especially if you love anything bike related!
Long Way Back by Charley Boorman
The life the late great Ozzy Osbourne lived was incredible. I read this book years ago as I’ve always loved him. It’s so sad he’s no longer here (I was gutted) but thankfully there’s lots of things to watch, read and listen to to remember him ❤️
