the floating boardwalk in the Dunes Section of Prince Edward National Park are a must as is the nearby red sand beaches. There are quaint fishing ports, Green Gables National Histori Site, hiking trails and historic Charlottetown.
There are plenty of day tours in Prince Edward Island most to either historical Charlottetown or the North Shore with most stopping at Green Gables National Historic Site.
I had never enjoyed a Lobster Roll until visiting Prince Edward Island and Richard's has a reputation for having the best, I don't disagree. There are also lobster suppers and festivals all over the island. PEI is about seafood and potatoes.
Accommodation is limited in Prince Edward Island especially during the summer months. Be sure to make early reservations for your hotel, motel, cottage or B&B.
