Edinburgh, Scotland - Edinburgh Castle of which the oldest part, St Margaret's Chapel, dates back to the 12th century. Around 1510, King James IV had the Great Hall built. the Scottish Crown Jewels are housed there as well. The views overlooking Edinburgh from the castle are breathtaking. I have not been to Japan, but my 22 yr old grandson went in June of 2025 and still raves about his experiences! So I wanted to share them in case you are interested in going.
I haven't been, but my grandson went last summer and loved it. You can feed the deer, pet them, and they walk all through the park and come right up to you.
