Traveling is magic. One of my favorite things about traveling is discovering the people stories, the human condition. Life is fuller when you travel with your eyes wide open and your heart full of warmth for your global citizens. I love the opportunity that local dining offers for meeting locals and fellow travelers. These sections are restaurants I love amd ingredients for international cooking at home.

Books take you on magical trips, whether preparing for trips or filling your ME-TIME by taking a mental trip or welcoming new friends into your imaginary world. A good book is irreplaceable. Some of these are even available on Kindle. These are books I have personally read and loved.

Accommodations can make or break your trip. My lists of accommodations are the best ones from my trips, for convenience, safety, comfort, ambiance, or amenities. Most of our cross-country road trips have been at Hiltons because we can count on their excellent accommodations, WI-FI capabilities, and usually breakfast is part of the room price. Plus we earn Hilton Honors points which we can then use on big trips, like our trip last year to the UK. With this list I am highlighting exceptional non-Hilton hotels as well as unique Hiltons.
