For a comfortable hiking experience, you need to make sure you're wearing the right clothes. Here are some of my recommendations. Note that I've selected women's items because that's what I wear but most of these come in men's styles and sizes.
If you get caught hiking in the rain, you want to have something that's waterproof, lightweight, and easily packable (because hopefully you don't have to take it out of your pack). This is a great choice, made by Columbia, a top gear company.
