It started as the Benable prompted practice list. I didn't sign up to recommend books, but I got slightly diverted and addicted 😆. A theme of escaping to unfamiliar worlds, historical and/or fantastical, has emerged in my fictional book choices. Non fiction section about the "real world", inside and out, ,now added.

I've only recently started getting into the board gaming hobby, so this is part owned/played and part wish list. Also includes some card games, and some games which can be played solo; good for learning the rules and a nice alternative to screen time. My wish list entries are researched and informed by BoardGameGeek, a great site for learning about board games. I've enjoyed everything I've found there.
