I've only recently started getting into the board gaming hobby, so this is part owned/played and part wish list. Also includes some card games, and some games which can be played solo; good for learning the rules and a nice alternative to screen time.

It started as the Benable prompted practice list. I didn't sign up to recommend books, but I got slightly diverted and addicted 😆. A theme of escaping to unfamiliar worlds, historical and/or fantastical, has emerged in my fictional book choices. Non fiction to follow.
