I first noticed sever pain in my knees at age 41 and even though I was very active and exercising I had such a horrible limp due to knee pain that finally when I was diagnosed at age 42 I couldn't even understand it - I could barely walk so after much distress I had my first total knee replacement…I would not recommend - worst pain I've ever had - I mean JUST HORRIBLE….fast forward to now in my 50's here I am again with the other knee totally bone on bone, pain in the tops of my feet and left thumb………… wow - I cannot let this stop me - I have too much going on - so I do low impact exercise like vibration therapy and weight lifting and watch my diet based on some research. I have to take control of this the best I can so here are some things you can read up on and research and also talk with your Dr. if you need to.
