For beginners or those looking for ideas. I wanted to list fish that are for beginners and those who keep smaller tanks. You should not get any fish unless you do A LOT of research!! You need to know how to take care of water in order to take care of fish. You need to know how to do efficient water changes and know how to monitor water levels. Before you get fish you should also know about cycling the tank. Most fish love it to be heavily planted whether that be fake or real and many, many hiding places. A heater, thermometer, filter, and bubbler are mandatory for any set up. Always have a backup plan for aggressive instances. You should also research every species. Always double-check that your chosen fish have compatible temperaments and water parameter requirements.
