These calendars aren't just for the holidays, we countdown to Halloween, Thanksgiving and our Birthdays too, who doesn't love a small surprise everyday. I also added in some DIY ideas. I've got kids and adults and teenagers covered, including the neurodivergent, my specialty.

They are unique and hard to shop for and they love the same hyperfixations FOREVER. Here are some items my audhd teenage boy has loved over the years and many he continues to love. He would be thrilled with any of these advent calendars. Towards the end, I added some DIY ideas.

Follow this in order, it starts and ends around downtown Brooklyn (for the most part). It's just under 3 hours walking, but you are going to want to stop and have drinks and snacks and visit cute shops along the way. For the longest stretch between Big Reuse and powerhouse; take the bus or an uber to save 20 minutes. Or walk along and see more of Brooklyn. I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday. .

I am raising two autistic teens in NYC, here are things we loved when they were young and now, and tips.

Forget about picky eaters, just eating in and of itself can be a challenge for autistic and adhd kids.
