One of my goals for 2026 is to work out at least 5 times a week, add strength training to my workouts, and plain be more active. My go to activies are Pilates and Peloton with some golf, pickleball and tennis thrown in as weather permits.

Elements of my daily beauty routine

As a self-proclaimed foodie, I am always on the lookout for a new innovative restaurant or a good steady Eddie. On the average weekend, I have a within 30 minutes of home time requirement. There are a few places on this list that are outside that limit - they are worthy! My requirements have changed a bit in the past couple of years after being diagnosed with Celiac disease, so most of these do a good job providing good options that don’t induce a reaction. I have also included a few that, although not great for me, still deserve a mention.

My honest review of the shows and series I have streamed - so this list contains mostly things I recommend, and a few I would not watch again if given the choice. For reference, I tend to favor dramas or dialogue-heavy content. Not a big watcher of shows with a ton of violence or cortisol-raising suspense unless it is a series my husband and I are watching together… and then I make some exceptions. For the most part, I am looking for a momentary escape from reality with characters I find interesting.
