A Smell-Free, Low-Maintenance Cat Litter System That Actually Saves Money For years, I battled with cat litter odours, messy cleanups, and wasted litter. Even with regular scooping, the smell — especially from urine — would linger, and I constantly had to throw away clean litter. After a lot of trial and error, I built a simple, affordable, smell-free litter system that works and saves money over time. By switching to a stainless steel litter box and Everclean Two Cat Clumping Litter, I created a setup that traps odours immediately, releases a fresh scent when cats walk on it, and dramatically reduces tracking and mess around the house. My cats' paws stay cleaner, the litter area stays fresher, and my clean-up routine is quick and easy. Although Everclean seems more expensive up front, I actually spend about the same — or even a little less — because I'm not wasting clean litter anymore. In this list, I’ll show you exactly what I use to create a low-odour, low-mess, cost-effective cat litter system that both cats and humans appreciate.
