Every year, I say I'm going to be better about budgeting for discretionary spend. I've tried to compile everything that I'd like to get here to make it easier for others to buy gifts for me and to help keep my spending on track.

I read a lot and I do a very poor job of keeping track of the many books I get through each year. While I tend to lean towards quick-paced romance (contemporary, historical, or fantasy!), I do occasionally pick up meatier books. What can I say? I like an escape from real life :)Hope you find something here that might (re)spark that love of reading!

Part of being an ally means taking the time to educate yourself. My recommendations for often used nail color and nail care products. I'm not big on spending a lot of time and then spending time drying and then still ruining the nails, so lots of fast options here!

Am I a makeup artist or beauty influencer? Only in my dreams, but this is what I've found has worked for me! Note that I have fair, cool toned skin and I've called out the shades that I use - also noting that a few face products I use have been discontinued (and I should probably stop using them but they're still working!).

I love a classic British high tea and have been searching for great options throughout my travels in the States. Ironic how the colonies are now embracing this British aristocratic tradition. I'll continue updating this with regional finds as I try them!
