We make an annual and sometimes semi annual trip to Great Wolf Lodge. This list is made by our seven year old with the help of an adult! So you know what you need and also what is exciting for kids! This list is helpful at most Great wolf lodges as they are very alike but especially tailored to Minneapolis!

I love Ninja products. You would think I am an ambassador or sales person for Ninja when you think of all the ones I have bought, gifted, told people about, etc. But I am not, and I have bought every Ninja I own! I just love them and they make my life easier in the kitchen!

We’ve shown family and friends around the city and squished some highlights into a 3 day Brisbane itinerary. Brisbane has evolved over the years with more entertainment, attractions, and a food and drink scene that rivals the best in Australia – Aussies love their neighbourhood coffee shops. Brisbane has a relaxed vibe and you can easily return and discover something new. You’ll notice a lot of activity based around the Brisbane River as it makes the city so livable and interesting.

For day 2 on the ultimate Brisbane Itinerary Sommer and I suggest you experience Brisbane’s café culture and neighborhoods in Paddington, West End, Newstead, or New Farm. Each neighborhood offers distinct coffee personalities and breakfast styles. After spending a couple days in the city, check out the Brisbane beaches with a day trip to the bay islands Moreton, Bribie, or North Stradbroke. This will be a full day but you can extend your stay with camping or accommodation on the islands if you want to relax more. South Bank is a vibrant cultural and recreational precinct adjacent the Brisbane River in central Brisbane. Paul still remembers the 1988 World Expo hosted on the site prior to transforming into the bustling cultural heart and social gathering place today. Brisbane may not have the same profile for ocean swells on coastal white sands and commercial coastal strips like its neighbours, Gold Coast (1 hour south) and Sunshine Coast (1.5 hours north) (aka the “Coasts”), but Brisbane beaches are hidden gems to discover. I remember walking and picnics at the sandy shorelines of bayside coves, and hearing experiences of friends camping and 4WDing (or failing) the beaches of the islands. I still enjoy Manly and Cleveland for walks and boat watching. As a homeschool family we have loved reading and listening to the books of Laura Ingalls Wilder and the Little House on the Praire series. So naturally we love visiting the various sites that are written in the books and the places she has lived during her life. De Smet is the main setting of books 5-9. Visiting helps really brings the books to life and helps you imagine what it was like back in the day!

After many years of working in France and spending half the week each week in Paris, I have put together my favorite places to visit in Paris!
