My favorite restaurants in Oregon that I've enjoyed over the years.

My wife and I are avid RV travelers, having been to eleven states, roughly thirty national parks & monuments, and a myriad of state parks. We absolutely love traveling by RV and seeing this wonderful country of ours. Over the last eight years, we've borrowed one RV from a friend and bought two others, a bumper pull and now a 5th wheel. We've learned a lot of lessons along the way, had some close calls, and had some incredible times on our own and with friends. We've made a number of new friends along the way and have seen things I never thought I'd have the opportunity to lay my eyes on. I've put together this list based on our experiences. This is a live list, always growing with new items based on new experiences. I hope you find some things that help you on your journeys - come inside, take a look and feel free to ask me questions - I'm always happy to help!!

For years Oregon was an off-the-radar state located on the Pacific Ocean that was known mostly for Myrtle wood trinkets and wet, cold weather. Little did people know that Oregon has so much more to offer. With a rennaisance attributed much to the establishment of the wine industry, Oregon started attracting more tourists, and, as a state realized they had much more to offer than the ocean and Myrtle wood trinkets. With the advent of high tech, Oregon's population exploded, and with that, came a desire to explore and experience new things. Destinations that were once virtually unknown suddenly became top of the list stops on vacation plans and long weekend trips. Oregon has so much to offer beyond the obvious Pacific Ocean and Mt. Hood. Take a dive into some of my favorite places to go and have a great time!

So my wife and I have completely renovated two homes now, and partially renovated two others, all four of which we lived in full time during the course of the renovations - something that is definitely not for the faint-of-heart! Over the past thirty years, we've learned a thing or two about home renovations, products, materials, tools, contractors, and handy men. This list is a summary of materials, tools, design sources, and projects we've worked on and any crafts (electricians, plumbers, etc.,) that we've needed to bring in to complete a job. It's been an interesting road that I know a lot of people may be reluctant to take. Let me tell you... if we can do it, anyone can do it!!

Ever since I was very young, I have been intrugued by Wyoming. I've wanted to move there for many years, but my better half always said it was too cold. We've traveled to Wyoming on several occasions and have absolutely fallen in love with the state. There is so much to see, do, and experience in Wyoming that one list just doesn't seem fitting.... Two years ago, an opportunity presented itself, so we made the proverbial jump and moved to Wyoming - and we're loving it!!! This is a list of places we've visited over the course of the past five years and since we've moved to Wyoming in 2024. I will be adding more and more to this list as time goes on and we're able to travel more. Watch for new additions to this list in the future!!
