growing up with trader joes (one of the few pros of living in the US rn), i had the beautiful opportunity to experiment with a variety of goodies from this supermarket chain. thankfully, they have a number of vegan options, so don't despair if you too, are vegan!

as a burmese-chinese woman, it's no question that asian food is always my go-to. my top 3 cuisines are: burmese, chinese, and vietnamese.

after spending my second year of grad school in boston, i had time to explore the restaurants in the area — here are my favorites. while i adore boston with all my heart, the biggest caveat is that asian food here is nothing compared to the big asian immigrant dominant cities (aka where i come from), so my standards for asian food are, without a doubt, understandbly higher. keep this in mind as you notice my favorites are very sparing in nature!
