No bottle is like breastfeeding, but these are -better- than most on the market. You want to look for a nipple that tapers gently from tip to base. Currently, there are only a few on the market: Lansinoh, Pigeon, Lactation Hub, Evenflo Balance +. MOST will fit on bottles you probably already own so you may be able to just buy the nipples, not the whole bottle.

Please only use nipple shields under the supervision of an IBCLC as 5ey are intended to be a temporary fiix while you work on your baby's latch. They are intended to provide a firmer, longer nipple for a baby to sustain their latch with. They limit the contact with your nipple which decreases oxytocin stimulation.

A good-fitting nursing bra is essential when you're latching and a good pumping bra is essential when you're pumping. I recommend getting at least 3 pumping/nursing bras if you are doing both. You can also repurpose an old bra or tightly fitted shirt by cutting slits by your nipples to hold the flanges.

Most tops are breastfeeding-friendly, but these clothes may make some people more comfortable nursing around others.

While these are by no means necessary, skin-to-skin tops can be a cozy way to snuggle your baby at home.

Baby carriers make caring for your baby so much easier.

Baby wearing, especially with non-structured carriers, can be daunting but it doesn't need to be. Learn how to wear your baby safely and comfortably.

These coats allow you to zip up your coat over your baby while you're wearing them.

Although they often say and do dumb things related to breastfeeeding, it always gives me a chuckle when breastfeeding is mentioned or shown in TV and movies.
