The King Street Mile is a great place to peruse shops and cafes, the waterfront is a beautiful place to spend a day by the Potomac River, and there are even ties to my hometown of Wichita, Kansas at Archer Hotel Alexandria and Homegrown.

All the places I would recommend as a transplant to the area. I really enjoy the local food scene here, they are huge on quality coffee and farm to table. Other things to do that I can’t link here is visit the bentonville and fayetteville square. They’re beautiful for the holidays! Getting outside is also very popular here if you’re into being outdoorsy. Shopping in the area is primarily at the pinnacle promenade in rogers and along college ave.
