From my very first German lesson in school, I fell in love with the language and decided to keep learning it as a hobby. I worked hard, earned top grades in my German exams, and didn’t stop there - I was determined to become fluent. Having German relatives definitely helped, but most of what I’ve learned came from a combination of amazing (and free!) resources, along with passion and dedication. Now I can speak German, watch movies in German and even read novels in German! If I had to start learning German from scratch, here’s exactly what I would do - and these steps can be applied to any language!
