I recently did a complete estate cleanout and even after the estate sale, there were a lot of items to dispose of. After doing a lot of online research I finally found homes for all of the household and clothing items that were left. Some of the businesses in this list are non-profits, some are for profit, some you need to book months in advance, others are more readily available, but charge a fee. Some of these are local to New York City, but most also have a national presence.

I thought registries were only for couples getting married. But I recently discoverediscovered that you can create a registry for every special occassion! I love how registries make planning any event a breeze because it saves time and gives your family and friends access to top products and brands that they can gift you for every special occassion. It's a great way to receive gifts that you want and need without any hassles. And as a guest to many special ocassions, I rely on registries to ensure that the receiver always gets exactly what they want.
