The last time I was in Galena, I went on a couples' getaway with my hubby. It was so fun to stay at a hotel, get up and have breakfast together, then we went on a tour of President Ulysses Grant's home. We went back to our hotel and sat in the whirlpool, then went on a ghost tour. The ghost tour is a great way to see alot of the historical buildings! We went in one mansion that was over 100 years old and it was priceless to see the architecture and original furniture.

Visiting DFW? Live here? Either way, these are places I've been and loved! Almost all are family and kid-friendly! (Have to be with me having a 2 and 4 year old!)
