These two micro cities and a tranquil town are located along the island’s western seaboard and can be experienced in a quick weekend getaway or a week-long vacation. If your starting point is Montego Bay (my home-base and ‘MoBay’ to locals), facing the sea, you can go right to Ocho Rios in 2 hours and go left to Negril in the same amount of time. There is a wide variety of things to do and see for every variation of interest in either direction.
