My husband and I visited in December 2023 and it's a city I could have spent a month in! We loved that it was a slower season, the Christmas lights and celebrations throughout the city, and experiencing the culture. Check out my “SPAIN” highlight on my Instagram for more pictures of our exploring! There's so much rich history and beautiful architecture around every corner! We spent so much time walking around and exploring the city, popping into whatever caught our eye for a bite to eat. The food is incredible, residents were very kind and *seemed* to appreciate the efforts to speak Spanish – mine is not very good, but I did my best and got us around!
I lived in Northern California for several years and loved spending time in San Francisco. When the sun is out, you have time to wander, good shoes, and an appetite, there's nowhere better on earth!
Lisbon is one of my favorite cities in the world. The tile of the sidewalks and buildings is beautiful. So many great viewpoints and streets to explore. Great food and drink - definitely try pastel de nata and ginja. You can read more on my blog: travelingnature.com/ultimate-guide-for-solo-travel-in-lisbon
Fun fact: my husband and I save our hotel keys every year and turn them into Christmas ornaments. We have them labeled so we always remember when and where we visited ❤️ These are some of the places we have stayed where I wanted to share my honest experience and whether or not it could be an excellent fit for your next destination!
If you fly, you already know how annoying it is when you don’t have what you need!
This is the stuff that actually makes flying easier, more comfortable, and way less chaotic. And because we should travel smarter… not harder!
Ohrid is not just a destination for me.
It’s a feeling I carry in my heart.
As someone from Macedonia, I grew up hearing stories about this city — but every time I visit, it still surprises me. The light on the lake, the silence inside the old churches, the sunsets that make you stop walking…
They call it the Macedonian Jerusalem.
But you don’t understand why until you stand there yourself.
If you were visiting with me, these are the places I would take you. 🤍

For years Oregon was an off-the-radar state located on the Pacific Ocean that was known mostly for Myrtle wood trinkets and wet, cold weather. Little did people know that Oregon has so much more to offer. With a rennaisance attributed much to the establishment of the wine industry, Oregon started attracting more tourists, and, as a state realized they had much more to offer than the ocean and Myrtle wood trinkets.
With the advent of high tech, Oregon's population exploded, and with that, came a desire to explore and experience new things. Destinations that were once virtually unknown suddenly became top of the list stops on vacation plans and long weekend trips.
Oregon has so much to offer beyond the obvious Pacific Ocean and Mt. Hood. Take a dive into some of my favorite places to go and have a great time!
If you only had 24 hours to spend in Nashville, here are some of my recommendations! Mix and match these options to curate your perfect day in Music City.

This list gives you all the details you need to plan a hiking trip to this beautiful island.
I went to Paris with my family for two weeks last January 2025 and it was all surreal! Paris is my dream vacation since I was a little girl and I have been longing to experience Paris like Emily (Lily Collins) did. My husband and I got a chance to visit the famous Emily in Paris filming locations. I enjoyed eating crepe beside Notre Dame Basilica. Sipping coffee in Trocadero. Taking photos with the Eiffel Tower. Lastly, strolling around Chateau de Versailles. It was the best way to start 2025! This was my BEST VACATION EVER!
The first thing I will say is if you are planning a trip here, please respect our ‘aina (land), people, and culture. The second thing I will say, do your research before you visit. This list is for people who are looking for activities to do while visiting or for those who currently live on O'ahu who are looking for something to do. One more thing. This reminder is for visitors and locals. Please don't touch the turtles or any of the wild life here. Doing so can either land you jail time or thousands of dollars worth of fines. You have zoom on your camera for a reason. Use it. This list will be updated so come back to check it out.
