I drove from Michigan out to Alaska. These were a few of my favorite things the state had to offer!

A few years ago my family and I embarked on a journey to visit all 63 National Parks and as many National Monuments as possible. We LOVE the National Park Service (NPS) and their sites because they are very well maintained, clean, accessible to people with a range of abilities, they are family friendly and they have bathrooms! Here is a very condensed list of some of our favorite National Parks and Monuments (so far) as well as our favorite hikes, sites, excursions, and more! MY #1 TIP when visiting any National Park is to make a stop at the Visitors Center to talk to a Ranger about things to do in the area and gather information about trail closures, etc.

As a relatively new local, there are places I've explored, places I have yet to venture to, and places I know locals enjoy most. This list provides a lil' bit of local vibes and a dash of tourism, but in the best possible way, from weekend family outings to exploring as the visitors do… seeing what the areas in and around Miami offer.

I'd like to think Denver, Colorado is a hidden-gem city. For the longest time in my life, Denver was just a temporary stop on a trip elsewhere: from layovers to driving through to a ski resort... If you're ever lucky enough to plan a trip out there, this is my perfect 1-day itinerary for Denver!

recently went to anaheim and it had so much to offer! so much fun and can’t wait to go back! These were our favorites while we went on our trip! Ballast point is still my #1 go to, i’m thinking about the food even while talking about it lol If you go you have to do a few of these because it’s too fun to miss out!

St. Maarten will always be have a special place in my heart. We've visited St. Maarten twice. The second time we took a ferry over to St. Barts for the day. Talk about a dream vacation. St. Barts is definitely on my bucket list. You can also visit Anguilla. You can turn your trip into a 3 island trip which IMO is really cool. I never visited the French side but I've heard nothing but great things. I would totally bring my kids to visit St. Maarten. I would say the people there are the nicest people I have ever met. So grateful and appreciated of everyone visiting their beautiful island. It's home of the famous beach next to the airport. You can almost touch the bottom of the planes! You can also make your own perfume or cologne on the island. Definitely an island you need to experience!

We had been looking forward to our Mother, Daughter Girls Trip to Anna Maria Island all year! It did not disappoint. I've never been to the West Coast of Florida - the water was literally like GATORADE blue, sand was so soft! We did our trip LATE APRIL - and didn't have one cloud in the sky the entire weekend. Weather was pristine! Anna Maria Island is actually very quiet. Just a beautiful weekend to explore a little, eat great seafood, enjoy reading on the beach, playing in the water, and ending every evening watching a gorgeous sunset. Perfect chill vibes.
