1000% RECOMMEND! We absolutely LOVED our long-at-last-beach-honeymoon (22 years late! LOL). I admit, I was stressing just trying to plan a couples vacation… where to go, where to stay, what to do, where to eat, what airlines to fly, and all the extras… Seriously, I was ready to just stay home. We wanted a kid-free, stress-free vacation that was turning into anything but that! My endless searching brought me to Sandals. At first glance, it seemed a little pricey, but I was ready to pay it just to be stress-free! Best Decision Ever! We had an absolutely blast the entire week~ stress-free, kid-free, fun and sun-filled time. We LOVED the NO-Stress, All-Inclusive, Treated like Royalty, Everything was Taken Care of, Beach Vacation. It had enough relaxation coupled with fun excursions to make Sandals worth every penny!! HIGHLY Recommend! Feel Free to ask questions!

Bangkok is chaotic, vibrant, overwhelming, and amazing. At first, it can seem soooo overwhelming to create a guide to a weekend in Bangkok. Where should I stay, what should I eat, what should I focus on, etc. There are thousands of options for each. But that’s where I can come in to break things down and make it more accessible if it’s your first time visiting. No matter how many times I go, the energy of the city revitalizes me. I’ve been to Bangkok 5+ times (and have lived in Thailand for over two years), and while the sheer size of the city can be daunting, I’ve learned how to make the most of a weekend trip without getting totally lost in the madness. If you’re looking for a perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and culture in Bangkok without feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation, this guide is for you. I’m a mid-range traveler who enjoys off the beaten path type of activities. Keep reading for my hidden gem guide to a weekend in Bangkok, Thailand:

My classroom was filled with lighthouse decor. My students always asked ‘Why lighthouses?’ A question I couldn't answer during the class day. The reason? They were to remind me of the reason I was there as well as the standard that I should embody. I was to be salt and light. God placed me in that classroom to be the light, especially for students who had no light at home. On tough days it was to remind me to be salt and light for these students. 3 verses: Matthew 5:15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house (NIV). & Ephesians 5:8-10 …but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), 10and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord (NIV). Mark 9:50 Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, how will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.” (ESV)
