South Florida is full of outdoor activities. When I have a day off and it is raining, there are often limited things to do. I decided to compile a list of activities generally open on rainy days because I am sure there are others who need stuff to do as well.

San Juan Capistrano is home to my favorite mission in California (there are 21 in total). The food in SJC is good, the shopping is great, and the vibe of an old farming community is alive and well. Welcome to my favorite Cali city.

I grew up living 5 minutes away from Jim Thorpe, and it is such a wonderful place. I have places listed here but there is SOOO much! So much that in all my years I haven't ventured into absolutely everything the town has to offer! Broadway street is the streets with all your shopping needs! Wine and Spirits, Handmade Crafts, Charm BAR, Witchy things, Harry Potter cafe :) Definitely check this place out and make sure to research, because events are happening all year round!

This one’s a favorite because it’s real-life tested in our everyday rhythm. We take several vacations per year and have found some items to be essential for land or cruise vacations. Additional tip- If you are traveling with a passport, make sure you make additional copies of your passport and email them to yourself and keep some copies with you. You don't want to lose your passport on a trip or have it stolen. Before a trip., I start packing small things and then as it get's closer I write down the items that are missing from that luggage on a sticky note and put it on the luggage. As I add that item, I cross of the item on the sticky note. It helps prevent missing items, but it still can happen, especially when kids do their own. When it comes time to leave and go home, we put all the dirty luggage into 1-2 pieces of luggage and then I can easily throw it all into the washer when we get home.
