"The ultimate first-timer's guide to Rome! 🏛️ I’ve rounded up my favorite iconic landmarks, hidden corners, and the exact links you need to book tickets before they sell out. Experience the history, skip the stress, and see why they call it the Eternal City. 🇮🇹"
Quick First-Timer Tips:
• Comfortable Shoes: Rome is meant to be walked, and the "Sanpietrini" (cobblestones) are brutal on heels or thin sandals.
• Water Fountains: Don't buy bottled water! Look for "Nasoni" (public fountains). The water is ice-cold, free, and delicious.
• Advance Booking: For the Colosseum and Vatican, "winging it" usually means waiting 3+ hours in line. Book 2–3 months in advance if possible.

My wife and I are avid RV travelers, having been to eleven states, roughly thirty national parks & monuments, and a myriad of state parks. We absolutely love traveling by RV and seeing this wonderful country of ours. Over the last eight years, we've borrowed one RV from a friend and bought two others, a bumper pull and now a 5th wheel. We've learned a lot of lessons along the way, had some close calls, and had some incredible times on our own and with friends. We've made a number of new friends along the way and have seen things I never thought I'd have the opportunity to lay my eyes on. I've put together this list based on our experiences. This is a live list, always growing with new items based on new experiences. I hope you find some things that help you on your journeys - come inside, take a look and feel free to ask me questions - I'm always happy to help!!

Bangkok is chaotic, vibrant, overwhelming, and amazing. At first, it can seem soooo overwhelming to create a guide to a weekend in Bangkok. But that’s where I can come in to break things down and make it more accessible if it’s your first time visiting. No matter how many times I go, the energy of the city revitalizes me. I’m a mid-range traveler who enjoys off the beaten path type of activities. Keep reading for my hidden gem guide to a weekend in Bangkok, Thailand:

About an hour west of NYC and an hour north of Philadelphia is Bucks County, PA. The Delaware River runs alongside, separating PA from NJ. It's a beautiful location in all seasons. It's a B&B destination, an antiquing stopping place, and a historic area. George Washington crossed the Delaware (yes, THAT event) during the Revolutionary War.

I live in the next county over to Hampshire in the UK, but I am often hopping across the border as there are just so many places to visit. Here are some of my favourites.
Typically, when I travel, I travel using only a carry-on. I hate waiting for my luggage to come on the carousel and I'm always afraid I'm going to lose my luggage so this is what I have in my carry-on for a week in Europe. Everything I need including clothes, toiletries and other necessities. I do cheat a little bit though, I take a very oversized “purse”with me on the plane it's actually not my purse. It's just an extra bag that I use as my “personal item” My purse is tucked inside. This is where I usually keep my makeup and my toiletries which allows me to pack all the rest of it into my carry-on. My family traveled to Europe for a week only using backpacks and that included two teenage girls that wanted to take everything with them. One even claimed she wasn't going to go because she couldn't take her 16 pairs of shoes she had laid out we worked it out though she took two pairs and had a gr eat time.
I lived in the Kansai region for over half a year - here are my top recommendations for travellers. Kansai includes major cities such as Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe as well as smaller cities such as Nara, Uji, and Himeji.

Here's one thing about me: I need all my things to relax, so when I travel, I prefer to drive so anything and everything can come along. I also don't love unpacking. However, I recently went on my honeymoon, which led me to curate the perfect, based-on-your-current-products, and small-enough-it-could-fit-in-my-carry-on kit that STAYS packed. Is it excessive? Maybe. Use this plus my travel makeup to be ready for any vacation! PSA: a lot of this requires you depotting product into a TSA approved package or buying a mini version.
One of my favorite things about traveling is discovering the people stories, the human condition. I love the opportunity that local dining offers for meeting locals and fellow travelers. These sections are restaurants I love and includes ingredients for international cooking at home.
