My husband and I visited in December 2023 and it's a city I could have spent a month in! We loved that it was a slower season, the Christmas lights and celebrations throughout the city, and experiencing the culture. Check out my “SPAIN” highlight on my Instagram for more pictures of our exploring! There's so much rich history and beautiful architecture around every corner! We spent so much time walking around and exploring the city, popping into whatever caught our eye for a bite to eat. The food is incredible, residents were very kind and *seemed* to appreciate the efforts to speak Spanish – mine is not very good, but I did my best!

St. Maarten will always be have a special place in my heart. We've visited St. Maarten twice. The second time we took a ferry over to St. Barts for the day. Talk about a dream vacation. St. Barts is definitely on my bucket list. You can also visit Anguilla. You can turn your trip into a 3 island trip which IMO is really cool. I never visited the French side but I've heard nothing but great things. I would totally bring my kids to visit St. Maarten. I would say the people there are the nicest people I have ever met. So grateful and appreciated of everyone visiting their beautiful island. It's home of the famous beach next to the airport. You can almost touch the bottom of the planes! You can also make your own perfume or cologne on the island. Definitely an island you need to experience!

My wife and I are avid RV travelers, having been to eleven states, roughly thirty national parks & monuments, and a myriad of state parks. We absolutely love traveling by RV and seeing this wonderful country of ours. Over the last eight years, we've borrowed one RV from a friend and bought two others, a bumper pull and now a 5th wheel. We've learned a lot of lessons along the way, had some close calls, and had some incredible times on our own and with friends. We've made a number of new friends along the way and have seen things I never thought I'd have the opportunity to lay my eyes on. I've put together this list based on our experiences. This is a live list, always growing with new items based on new experiences. I hope you find some things that help you on your journeys - come inside, take a look and feel free to ask me questions - I'm always happy to help!!

The U.S. National Parks are a collection of spectacular areas in nature that have been preserved for visitors well into the future. I haven't been to all of them, but it's a goal of mine before I die.
