If you're visiting the Toronto area and you have a couple of extra days, I highly recommend you hop in the car and drive up the 400 (the major highway that runs north of Toronto and is the most direct route to this region). Canadian's refer to this spot as Cottage Country. It's a mixture of estate lake homes, pass down generational cottages, resorts, hotels, and camp sites. This region is peppered with some of the most beautiful lakes and wildlife. It's a must visit if you're in the area! And the best part? It's four seasons!
