A few years ago my family and I embarked on a journey to visit all 63 National Parks and as many National Monuments as possible. We LOVE the National Park Service (NPS) and their sites because they are very well maintained, clean, accessible to people with a range of abilities, they are family friendly and they have bathrooms! Here is a very condensed list of some of our favorite National Parks and Monuments (so far) as well as our favorite hikes, sites, excursions, and more! MY #1 TIP when visiting any National Park is to make a stop at the Visitors Center to talk to a Ranger about things to do in the area and gather information about trail closures, etc.
I recently went to San Diego for vacation and here are the highlights of that trip! I've included restaurants, scenery places, and entertainment as part of this list
The bag and the goods we used while doing 6 days at disney. We had a bag for each adult (mom and dad). With these items the bags were never too heavy, and fit what was needed with a bit extra room for some things we may purchase in the parks.

Being in Florida means always being an hour or two away from a beach! Being able to go to the beach any time of the year is a blessing, and we’ve gotten pretty good at knowing what we need to bring vs what we can leave at home. Lots of beaches require you to walk a good distance from the parking lot to wherever you want to sit so you really only want to bring what is necessary. Also here’s another tip: Get to the beach EARLY and if you can’t, get there an hour or two before sunset. Good luck finding parking midday!
I used to dread winter travel before I became fully equipped to survive (and enjoy) it! Here are the essentials I always bring on my winter travels, may that be to Korea, Finland, or Patagonia!

I've hiked in different parts of France and c'est magnifique!

With that goal in mind, in 2023 we trekked 24 hours across the globe, from Canada to the Daintree Rainforest in Northern Australia, to say our vows and explore new places in a 4 week trip of our dreams.
We aren't fast-speed travellers. We love to stay for a few days to a week in one spot, soak up the sights, and have a mix of adventurous activities and chill time with no set plans for pool time, beach walks, or enjoying a snack.

You’ll find everything from laid-back beach days to date-night restaurants and rainy-day kid activities, all in one place.
I put this together for families, couples, and anyone who wants that “real life Charleston” experience beyond the basic tourist traps.
