This was a great vacation. We stayed at an Airbnb ~3 miles west of Hanalei, which is the last main town in Kauai as you head west towards the Nā pali coast. Unfortunately, the Airbnb is no longer listed, and next time we will look for a place even closer to a swimmable beach so we can walk and not deal with putting kids in the car.
90% of the time we stayed in a 10 mile radius because it was perfect for us. Our recommendations are just north side and basically just Hanalei surroundings.
If we came back, we’d definitely adventure out a little more to see more -- waimea canyon, south side, etc. -- but Hanalei area is the dopest on the north side so we were happy as clams. This is a list of things we did.
