If you're traveling to Broken Bow, OK, you're likely staying close to, or in Hochatown, OK. Hochatown is where all of the wineries and breweries are, as well as the majority of cabins and Airbnb's. We drove in on a Thursday and checked out on Sunday. We really enjoyed exploring this beautiful area, and are already planning our next trip for later this year. We kicked off our Disney trip by flying Porter Airlines from Toronto to Orlando with our toddler, taking advantage of the free water park day at Typhoon Lagoon on check-in day, and settling into Port Orleans French Quarter. Here’s what we wore to the airport, what we packed for the hotel room (besides clothes), where we ate, and everything we brought to survive a water park with a 2-year-old.

After moving back to my hometown, I’m enjoying the fascinating history, OK land run, Indigenous culture, oil boom, & the characters that made their lives in Ponca.

I grew up living 5 minutes away from Jim Thorpe, and it is such a wonderful place. I have places listed here but there is SOOO much! So much that in all my years I haven't ventured into absolutely everything the town has to offer! Broadway street is the streets with all your shopping needs! Wine and Spirits, Handmade Crafts, Charm BAR, Witchy things, Harry Potter cafe :) Definitely check this place out and make sure to research, because events are happening all year round!
