I grew up in the lower part of Westchester County (just a few miles north of NYC) and then I lived in Brooklyn for about 7 years during my early 20s, and more recently I spent a few years living in the Buffalo area as well. Many of my friends and family members still live in the greater NY area so I thankfully get to visit often and still enjoy a lot of the same old spots, restaurants, and experiences. I just thought I'd start putting together a list here with some of my favorite things about New York and I hope you find some interesting things to try whenever you're visiting!

Come to Newtown and Enmore in the Inner West, Sydney for a great day out! It's famous for its got cool bars and live performance venues, eateries, second-hand clothing and antiques shops, and a few other cool designer shops as well! I'm lucky I'm a local and so I'll always find something fun to do around here! It's a great place to catch up with friends too!

How my hubby and I balled on a budget during our honeymoon. A little guide on some of our favorite spots that we visited for free plus some of the spots that we ended up spending money on (worth it). Mont-Tremblant was one our favourite winter holidays, and our most recent one. Sunny days on the slopes, cozy cafés, relaxed dinners, and plenty to do with kids. I would highly recommend Montego bay (Mobay) not just because I call it home. But because it offers a lot. The nightlife and the activities are endless. I also recommend Ocho rios (ochi) and Negril for tourist.
