I was in the middle of moving; ALL of our clothes except for a weeks worth of clothes were at the new house. Then there was the flood that blocked us in together in a separate town from our main belongings, my boyfriend couldn't get home, my roommate couldn't leave work. Then I had vacation. I was stressed and didn't have any excitement in me to shop. These are things I longed for throughout my trip. I went to California for four days; Disney park with rides, TMZ tour in Hollywood. Then I went on a cruise for eight days; Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas, and Puerto Vallarta. A mixture of window shopping and what I would buy if I went again
After years of overpacking (and forgetting the things I actually needed), I’ve finally narrowed it down to the holy grail travel essentials I never leave home without. These are the packing items that make travel smoother, smarter, and way less stressful.

For years Oregon was an off-the-radar state located on the Pacific Ocean that was known mostly for Myrtle wood trinkets and wet, cold weather. Little did people know that Oregon has so much more to offer. With a rennaisance attributed much to the establishment of the wine industry, Oregon started attracting more tourists, and, as a state realized they had much more to offer than the ocean and Myrtle wood trinkets.
With the advent of high tech, Oregon's population exploded, and with that, came a desire to explore and experience new things. Destinations that were once virtually unknown suddenly became top of the list stops on vacation plans and long weekend trips.
Oregon has so much to offer beyond the obvious Pacific Ocean and Mt. Hood. Take a dive into some of my favorite places to go and have a great time!

After helping hundreds of families plan safer RV trips, I've learned which safety gear actually matters and which factory equipment needs upgrading immediately. Most RVs come with bare-minimum safety items that won't protect you in real emergencies. This list covers fire safety, tire monitoring, gas detection, electrical protection, and roadside essentials that give you peace of mind on the road. Whether you're renting your first RV, just bought a used trailer, or upgrading your rig after years of travel, these are the non-negotiables. I've tested these products ourselves and wouldn't hit the road without them. Your family's safety is worth the investment. Start here.
RVP lists may contain affiliate links that could earn RVP a small commission if you purchase through them at no extra cost to you. This will allow RVP to continue its support of the RV community.
a gorgeous destination for a short holiday. I went in January and the area was covered in snow and it was absolutely beautiful!! I recommend purchasing the Oslo visitor pass for your visit. It has access for lots of museums, attractions and other things! Definitely better value than purchasing individual tickets for each attraction.
