This is my absolute favorite way to spend a day in Grand Rapids. My personal love letter to the city. We’re talking John Ball Zoo on a perfect morning (those red pandas will steal your heart), the most beautiful parks for wandering and people-watching, museums that surprise you with how cool they are, and the restaurants I get legitimately giddy about—great food, great vibes, and conversations that never want to end. It’s relaxed in the best way, but every stop feels like a little burst of happy. Basically all my GR happy places in one list—come fall in love with the city the way I have.

I know I’m biased but I think the greater Finger Lakes area has some of the best four seasons scenery- the hiking, trails, waterfalls, hills, are all absolutely breathtaking. Along with that l, there is the wine making hills that cascade into the finger lakes which creates amazing wine and wineries for days and days.
