The main “downtown” area is on California Ave SW where you’ll find Easy Street Records, Molly Moon Ice Cream, and lots of local shops. If you’re visiting while the weather’s nice, head to Alki Beach or take a bike ride along Beach Drive. Visiting with a dog? Take them to West Crest Dog Park. Whether you’re taking a day trip via water taxi or visiting the “island” for a weekend, here’s a few favorite spots in West Seattle.

I think London is my most favorite city in the world. I was lucky to be able to study at Cambridge for a bit during university and was able to visit London for the first time many years ago. I have since been back a couple of times and absolutely love it!! It is a great place for eating, history, tourism, and more.

Pai is a vibrant and groovy town in the north of Thailand, infamous for it's high backpacker scene and laid back atmosphere (literally saw a hippy the moment i got there). I would highly recommend renting an automatic scooter to get around as the GRAB app doesn't work in Pai, neither does GoJek. Try not to fall into the Pai-hole, best of luck!

Surabaya is Indonesia’s second largest city and the second most important commercial and industrial center after Jakarta. It is home to three million people, a large port and Indonesia’s navy. The old city is situated around Jembatan Merah (Red Bridge) and Kota train station. The city center and major top-end hotel area is around J. Pemuda. The airport is 15 kilometers outside of town. There are good train connection to Jakarta, Yogyakarta and a ferry to Bali. Most travelers don’t stay here any longer than they have to: often until they can the next plane or train out.

Prague is one of those cities that really sneaks up on you—in the best way. The fairytale views? Sure. But also: trams that just make sense, dumplings that are somehow a full meal, and a surprisingly great free walking tour scene.
