Batam City is the largest city in the province of Riau Islands, Indonesia. The city administrative area covers three main islands of Batam, Rempang, and Galang as well as Bulang to the west and several smaller islands. Batam known for a strategic place because it's only an hour away from Singapore and Malaysia.

Sometimes the best way to keep stress at bay is a quick escape and some chill time in nature. Here's everything I did and recommend on my recent trip to Sequim and the Olympic Peninsula. This was my second trip to the Olympic Peninsula, and I'm sure there will be more! The goal of this trip was to go slow, experience unique places, watch the sunset over the water, and spend time in the lush green forests of the peninsula. This region is so green and has such great scenery, I can physically feel myself loosen up and get lighter just driving into the area.
